Colour Damaged Leather Couch Restored
This leather couch had an unusual mishap! Apparantly, a child threw up on the seating area and in the process of cleaning up, the print colour was also removed, exposing the brighter base colour.
This leather suite arrived at my workshop in a terrible state. The dark antiquing had worn through exposing the bright red base.
I can see the shock on the parents faces when this happened!
You can see in the above photos the worn patches exposing the lighter base colour.
After a really good clean and some creative artistic leather colouring, here's the end result ...
